Born in Spoleto, Umbria - Italy, 1930, Antonio Cardarelli has lived and worked in Paris since 1957

While Antonio's works reflect both the figurative and the non-figurative currents of the School of Paris since the 1950s, his style remains most personal. His handling of color, light, opacity, and transference are indicators of a true original sensitivity.

Recorded: Benezit, Emmanuel. Dictionnaire des Peintres, Sculpteurs, Dessinateurs, et Graveurs. Paris: Librairie Grund, 1999.
